Hello:
A while back I bought a lightly used Gunnar F1-XL CMC from another Grumble member. I had Gunnar USA send a tech out to set up/calibrate the machine, and give me some instruction on using the GMC software. Try as I might, I cannot get the thing to do ANYTHING except cut out basic rectangular mats and I have managed to cut an oval and a circle. I know the machine itself has amazing capabilities, but I fight the GMC program at every turn. I'm by no means stupid and have no problems at all using other computer programs, and have been a framer for years, so I know the drill. I'm in the Northern Virginia area, and looking for someone who is experienced with the Gunnar CMC and GMC software. Will pay for OJT instruction.
As of 1 Jan, Gunnar has started billing $125.00 per hour for telephone support. Since there is no manual for the software, very few help files, and only a number of Jared Davis instructional videos, I decided to forego further help from the company and strike out into the CMC community for help.
Any takers or any ideas?
