Hi all I was wondering if I could get some help. I’m cutting a mat with some depth, I don’t know the name of this style of mat, on the wizard using the “Spike” setting. Normally I cut them with the landing still attached to the spike cut. The customer did not want the landing and only wanted the sides. I’ll be attaching a fillet to both of these mats. My question is, does anyone have have tips/tricks to help attach the corners and to structure to matting. I have applied foam core to them as seen in the pictures. Any ideas would be very helpful

Hi Atron3030.
I am unfamiliar with the Spike setting. (I found the Spike 614).
I believe that these mats are often called Cove mats.
If you do a search for that term, multiple discussions will come up.
I haven't experimented much with it myself, but I'm sure you'll find something useful in the previous discussions.

Best of luck,
Brian

COVE mats! Thank you! And I will certainly look them up

Here’s a thread on cove mounts with a download.

You can use it to calculate and cut manually and it can be set up in CMC software

..
I've been playing with that Cove designer for several years.
I don't have a CMC.
Cutting them by hand can be a bit fiddly and error prone. But I have made a few. Havn't introduced it as an option to customers yet.
