... and it ought to be an easy one (or two, in this case) to locate!

I need two basic black square mouldings to bid on a job. I need each in box quantities at box prices.

The first is a basic narrow satin or matte black stem, approx. 1" deep and 5/8" wide. The second is a sister to that: the same thing except not as deep; say 5/8" deep.

If you have any favorites you can recommend to me, I will check them out and see if they will work for my job. My regular supplier is very low on stock until mid September and I will need them sooner than that.

Thanks everybody!

Nurre Caxton has their "Architectureal Profiles."

Matte Black

W995704 is 5/8" wide with a 9/16" rabbet for .43/240'
W995604 is 5/8" wide with a 13/16" rabbet for .50/240'

Finish is usually "ok." Have had some boxes that were great and some that had "shiny strap marks on them." Lost about 25% of one of those boxes.

All-in-all it's not bad for the money.

Edie - shame on you - call Mark Wasserman to look at the 10-9000 series black moulding that Lewinter carries !

I like Studio black box mouldings. Box after box no problems. We carry 10+ different blacks from Studio in box quanitys.

You guys are the best.
I have chips coming from Nurre Caxton, Studio, Decor and International Mldg.
Tom, it is the 10-9000 series that are low on stock until mid Sept.
Thanks!
(keep 'em coming, though)

I'm going to second Dave. Studio blacks give an excellent value for the price (important if you are bidding) and their quality is pretty darn good. We do get a fair amount of shipping damage from the NJ location, but in box quantities that shouldn't be a problem.
