Help, can't find any cutting tool that fits my Fletcher

I purchased a discontinued Fletcher wall mount glass cutter.
#48 or #49, 48". Made in the 50's. I can't find any cuting tools/blades that will fit into the cutting head that glides on the two bars. This is a precision cutting glass cutter. I would need multiple tools/blades for scoring glass & flexiable 3mm plastic (Sintra) with clean sharp cuts. Additionally...the two bars have score marks that affects the glide. What can be done about that? I have spent three days cleaning this cutter, now it sparkles. OK, I purchased this on Ebay...Paid $13.77 + $35.00 for shipping.
But it has to work!
Please advise, I'm a fish out of water with cutters.

You might have to have a local machine shop modify the head to accept current tools, if that's possible. A lot has changed since the 50's.

I've been having a hard time finding 5-1/2" floppy disks for my TRS-80 too. Sorry.
 
Fletcher used to make a matboard/acrylic cutter for that machine, but no longer. I had an 8448 when I bought my place. Glass cut only. I still have it, by the way. If you want some parts, like the cutting posts, we might be able to swing something.

As far as attaching other tools, the machine shop idea is probably your best bet.

Thanks Rick, that is my next move along with (maybe) modifing the cutting tools to fit.

I work out of my house and make small vinyl signs. The substrate I use 99% of the time is 3mm Sintra, a flexiable plastic. Using my table saw to cut the Sintra makes a mess you can't belive. The dust & small pieces sticks to everything with a electric charge. Since this is a very small part of my business, I wanted to go the cheapest way. I'm trying to score & snap the Sintra with a clean cut. I paid $13.77 for the Fletcher cuter on Ebay. Cleaned it up that it looks like its 5 years old.

I had an older model (might have been that one) for a short time that I bought and resold on eBay for the same reason.

Although it was only made to score glass, the previous owner had used a grinder and somehow modified blades from the 3000 model to work on a piece that he had machined. So I would say get some blades and take your head/blades to a machine shop and see what they can do.
