MNSue pre introduced me last week, and I'm sorry that I haven't had a chance to introduce myself. I'm Barb and I've been framing for 10 years for two of the big box companies. I met Sue at work, a private frame shop and gallery, and she told me that I need to get with you guys, that she's gotten a lot of advice and learned a lot also, so here I go.

I'm in the process of buying a frame shop and I'm looking forward to owning my own business. I'll need all the help I can get, and thank you for being here for me. EarthBarb comes from the fact that whenever anyone asks me where I'm from, I tell them Earth. My dad was in the army for 27 years and I moved 21 times before I graduated from high school, so, I'm from Earth. Born in Germany and lived in so many wonderful states, that even I don't know which one is my favorite. I just wish Minnesota's winters weren't so long. But it is what it is and somehow we all manage to get things done.

I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions for everyone, I'll search first unless I'm in a panic, so please forgive me before hand.

Welcometo the Grumble EarthBarb, and best of luck with your new shop. I'm a newcomer as well, and let me tell you, the framer guys and framer gals who hang out here are the greatest! I've been warmly welcomed, and made to feel right at home, and I know you'll feel that way, too. This is the best framing resource on the planet. I've learned a ton in a few short months.:D
