heat activated vacuum press

I don't know of one offhand that has a gator board base, but if foamcore is strong enough for most of your needs, the most popular ones out there are KoolTack and MountCor. They come in a few different varieties as well like MountCor Canvas which is a bit stronger than the regular you would use for paper prints.

Any Kool Tack distributor can get their Gatorfoam board with pre-applied heat-activated adhesive. If it's a special buy for your supplier, you probably would have to buy a whole carton and wait for their next Kool Tack shipment.

Cool, so if you're patient, and considering you're close enough to me I would assume we're on many of the same routes, I would recommend calling Palmetto or International for a carton of your preferred KoolTack board. Idk if you're on the Omega delivery route, but that's where I get my cartons of MountCor from--LJ sells it too, but Omega will often have seasonal sales on boxes.

When mounting on foam core I used 2 or 3" strips pinwheeled around the edges of the board I was mounting to to prevent the edges of the mounting board from squishing.

Kool Tack also make a product called Competition Plate which is their low temperature adhesive on an ACM panel.
Here's a list of their products:

Thank you so much for your input. I will contact Palmetto to see what they have, they use to be in Charleston, but closed up a few years back. My other option is to use a mounting tissue which I'm also looking into.
Cheers, Larry
