Help me out here. I am looking for a source for the Hassle Free dust cover trimmer. It is a red plastic dust cover trimmer that takes a single edge razor blade. It works right handed or left handed. I got one a few years back at a show but now I can't find a source.

Mine is grey plastic, holds 1200SE blades (used mat cutter blades) and I got it from United.

Can't find the part number, but maybe Peter can get it for you!

I got a red one from United 3 years ago. no idea what the number is. I am pretty sure it was called "Hassle Free."

I don't use it. If you can't find one let me know and I'll send you this one.

I must be really old!~ Mine has a wood handle!~

Gumby, I have 2 trimmers, one has a red wooden handle, uses dexter blades, and the grey plastic one uses used mat cutter blades. Being a <strike>cheap</strike> frugal framer I decided to pay $4 for the one that reuses mat cutter blades, it is definitely the better of the two. The blade tends to get loose on the red wooden handled one!

BUT, I don't use either, unless I am working on a really big piece, I just hold the blade and cut the paper by hand.

Bob, were I to use the trimmer on a regular basis I would also get the 1/4" ATG Gun adapter. It would be less atg to "clean-up" after cutting the paper off the backs.
