I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. I realize that this has been a difficult year for many retail businesses, but I'm optimistic that brighter days are just around the corner.

Vicki and I hope that each of you, and your families, will enjoy a prosperous, happy and healthy holdiay season.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Paul and Vicki Cascio

Paul, the number 1 day for number of hits on my ministry blog is Thanksgiving Day for (obviously) Thanksgiving Prayers or Blessings.

All during the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, the hits increase. However this year, there are more and more hits using the phrase "Thanksgiving Prayer during difficult times."

And the more I see it, the more I'm aware of how difficult the times really are for many people all over the world.

But I, too, wish Grumblers a happy and joyous season. And remind all that thanksgiving must begin "internally" before it can be enjoyed "externally."

Thanks Paul

Sandy and I would like to wish everyone a great thanks giving. We have so much to be thankful for. Our daughter is 8 now and has been cancer free for 6 years now. So we celebrate every day. Our shop is in central Jersey and the end of the year we are moving to Cody Wyoming. We are moving to give our daughter a better quality of life. She loves horses and will have one when we get out there.

We will be opening up a new shop out there. So we are working on the new desighn of the shop and what equipment we will need.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Remember...it is the Turkey that should be stuffed!

Happy Thanksgiving to all, and to all good stuffing!
I have my knife ready to carve up those birds. We do double duty. The first dinner at 1:00 with my husbands family, then again at 6:00 with my family. By 8:00 the tryptophan has kicked in and I spend the rest of the evening on the sofa.
Wishing you all a bonza Black Friday!

Hppy Thanksgiving!! The brine is ready..............I just have to "Jacuzzi" the turkey later. L.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I especially would like to thank Paul and Vicki for their part in helping me begin a new and exciting chapter (I hope) in my life. Even though I haven't framed a lick I have had a ball being involved with this website and all the interesting and knowledgeable people who frequent it. Thanks! Randy J.

Thanks, Paul! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. :icon21:

A little Thanksgiving levity:

Subject: The Parrot

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's' mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to clean up the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep, was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird said, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
