Better late than never...

Many thanks to Jim Miller for his excellent workshop in Houston this past Sunday. Jim's two classes, both of which qualify as continuing education for the MCPF designation, were:

Non-Invasive Object Mounting: mounting 3D objects with a wide variety of methods and materials including tulle, Mylar/Melinex, cable ties, formed rod mounts, EZ-Tach products, sewing and many more.

Design & Construction of Shadowbox Enclosures: many methods of designing and building easy-access shadowbox frames, extending rabbet depth and solving many common object framing problems.

Thank you to all Houston area framers (and the two who drove all the way from Austin) who came and made the classes a great success.

And thank you to Kathleen and Ricky Connaughton of Hollywood Frame Gallery for hosting the event and to the chapter leadership who pulled it all together.

Look for Jim in Toronto September 10 at the PMA Canada Expo.
