Moving? From the pictures on your website it looked like you were in a good place. Are you moving to a newer area?

Please let me know how you move a shop in a few days. My last move took seven weeks to move two blocks.

We just live in "Slow" areas. In places like Florida north along the coast or into the Gulf,
you just wait for a "strong wind".
In the West, Fall and fire season can be a strong motivator.
In SoCal, riots are as powerful as a discriminating hurrican.
Then there are the framers like Charles who work in a Tornado Magnet....
I worked for a Fast Frame once that we move between Saturday evening and re-opened on Tuesday.

In retrospect, it was probably a strategic error for one person to try and keep a store open while moving it. Also, as the wrecking balls appeared on the horizon, I became less discriminating and began moving things like broken glass and catalogs from defunct vendors. I'm still sorting through that stuff.
When I retire, I'm going to write "A Guide to Moving a Frameshop." Watch for it in the PPFA bookstore.

I have forgotten all about that. I really hate it when it gets dark at 6pm. We should stop this clock changing nonsense. Maybe I should just move to Arizona.
