We got like one the following day but the last one I've seen was about 9 months after the original launch. We just barely made the minimum for the Groupon to take effect. Our shop didn't do so hot with Groupon. I think it's because the people of our city were not well enough aware of what Groupon is.
I have to crunch some numbers, but here's the lowdown: we ran our Groupon nearly a year ago (last April). There was an initial surge, especially the Saturday after the Groupon ran (it was our biggest single day ever). It then gradually tapered off. I'd say at this point I've redeemed maybe 60% of the groupons issued, and there's about another month and a half to go. I expect there'll be another surge as people get their "use-it-or-lose-it" reminders from Groupon. In the end, though, every deal has a certain non-redemption rate. You should never COUNT on this when structuring a deal, but it happens.
We had a few who came in right away. The first week after the Groupon ran several were redeemed. Since then it has been one here, on there. We have about 55% of the issued Groupons redeemed so far since it ran last October. The exposure was nice. Lots of web hits and phone calls the week it was run, but overall the Groupon didnt do much for business here.
Well Groupon has not run mine yet, although it has been 6 o 7 months. I did just run one with Living Social on 2/24 and only sold 13. They are smaller than Groupon in my trade area.
My deal was $90.00 / $45.00. I had one redeem on 2/26 with a $103 additional. Had one redeem on 2/28 with a $222. add on. So far so good.
