Recap: About a YEAR ago I made the deal with them. Numeous calls got no response, and the deal never ran.
Guess who calls me out of the blue on Monday? "We want to be sure you want to run - we're ready to go for next Monday..."
Told her i wanted to think about it - PO'd doesn't really describe my feelings.
She called BACk on Tues and again Wednesday "We really need to talk before this runs... TOld her NO WAY would we run - business model has changed, wasn't thrilled with the year-long wait OR the last minute notice. SHE complained our backing out was a "real hardship" on THEM having to put together a deal with no notice!
 
Now that is funny. You could have just told her that bad planning on her part is not an emergency on yours.

I was just logging in to search Groupon and gauge other framer's experiences. Maybe I should rethink this.

There are a few long threads in the business issues forum. Groupon was the single most profitable venture for me last year. Mine ran in August and I still have orders coming in, $700 worth just this week. Others had much different experiences. This is it in a nutshell, besides making sure the offer won't break you: Thousands of people will check out your website. If it looks unprofessional or otherwise like #### don't do it until you can impress the people who will check you out, because if you turn off thousands of people in your community you're screwed.

My brutally honest opinion: your website looks nice, certainly better than many I've seen on Groupon. You should put better pictures in your framing solutions section, show better variety even if it's not a package deal. Your photo services section will surely get a lot of interest and it looks good.
