I have a Buffalo customer who must travel to her mom's home in Greensboro to get the place ready to go on the market. There are a lot of framed items which she wants to send back to Buffalo - just not in their frames.

So I am looking for a framer to disassemble these items for her and possibly recommend a pack and ship place as well.

The framer can keep the frames - and she will pay to disassemble them, of course.

So far I have had no luck searching on the Grumble for any framers from Greensboro. Thanks!
 
I am in Winston Salem, 30 minutes South of Greensboro. I can do this. There is a pack and ship place less than 2 miles from my shop. Call me 336-408-0517.
 
Aha! I see by her FB page Jini at least lives in Greensboro - her shop is in Columbia. How close is that to Greensboro? My customer mentioned the closer to the "Friendly Shopping Center" in Greensboro the better - she doesn't want to have to "drive all over the place" - taking ones parents home apart is a daunting and heart-wrenching task.
 
Columbia is at least 3 hours from Greensboro. I "googled" the directions from my shop to Friendly Center Shopping Center in Greensboro and I am 44 minutes away. Call me, I can take care of this.
 
Thanks John, I am collecting phone numbers and addresses for my customer - I will try to figure out how to make sure she goes down there with a Map Quest print out at least. She may not have computer access when she is there.

If the distance is a problem, I can meet her somewhere she would feel comfortable between Winston Salem and Greensboro.... no problem.
 
The names and contact info of several South Carolina framers are in the hands of my customer. She is thrilled. I will leave it up to her to make a choice - so thanks everyone for the suggestions and the contacts!

Same customer phoned today. She is again in Greensboro, her mom just died (age 102!) and she needs whoever did this for her before to do it again (remove pictures from her old frames and pack and ship them to Buffalo). I thought it was Johnny Golden but she says he is in Winston Salem and she needs someone in Greensboro.

I know this is a four year old thread - hello - Greensboro???

Anyone?
 
I didn't do this job before, but we are in Winston-Salem as well and could easily shoot over to Greensboro tomorrow (the 27th) or Monday to pick up the pieces.
