Marshall has over 800 structures as part of the National Landmark Historic District in the small urban category, the largest amount for a town this size. Just strolling around the community is an architectural visual feast. There are more museums per capita than almost anywhere... eleven in all!!... ranging from the Honolulu House, Capital Hill Schoolhouse, Magic Museum (including Houdini's props), Postal Museum (2nd only to the Smithsonian's), Gasoline Museum and the GAR military museum. First run movies are still only $5.50! Plus when you go, you’ll get a coupon for free popcorn with your paid admission.
Accommodations abound, such as the simple and clean Howard's Motel to the fine, Italianate B&B Rosehill Inn where for a very reduced rate for Sunday night, just mention PPFA.
If you would like to take a tour just so indicate on your registration for the meeting and Patrice will try to work out some details or get a connection for you.
