We will be holding our "Hot Guitar" Chapter Print Competition and the Open Competition at this event!

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The location for the day, the Governor's Mansion, is being saved and restored by the ladies of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution, and has an intriguing story behind it. Since Marshall is full of little tourist surprises you may want to think about making this a getaway weekend. Consider it a reward for [/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]your nose-to-the grindstone busy season![/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Marshall has over 800 structures as part of the National Landmark Historic District in the small urban category, the largest amount for a town this size. Just strolling around the community is an architectural visual feast. There are more museums per capita than almost anywhere... eleven in all!!... ranging from the Honolulu House, Capital Hill Schoolhouse, Magic Museum (including Houdini's props), Postal Museum (2nd only to the Smithsonian's), Gasoline Museum and the GAR military museum. First run movies are still only $5.50! Plus when you go, you’ll get a coupon for free popcorn with your paid admission.[/FONT]

I'll be heading up right after work on Saturday...
 
I was planning on coming, however, life has a way of changing our plans sometimes. I am really sorry to have to miss the meeting. I would love to see Marshall Framing Studio as well as all my Grumble friends.

I'll have to suggest the bonfire idea to Patrice!

Last time you ladies stayed at Wee Cottage I enjoyed our game of throwing moulding corners into the fire after identifying them... what fun!

Bro Jon has doubled the size of the place since you stayed there ... now it's a three bedroom 2 bath cottage but still plenty of room for bonfires.

Rumor has it that we are having a beer bash courtesy of Travis Nelson of Nelson Mldg. and Frame... probably Saturday night... still awaiting the details.

Well, we did get hammered good. However, I have been out and about today and the roads are pretty good already. By Sunday, travel should be no problem.
