I've got a 16x34 canvas with only about 1/2 inch border for stretching. Does anyone have some Beva strips and polyester that I could purchase, so I don't have to shell out for the whole roll? Some how-to advice would also be greatly appreciated (especially because the customer is an adorable young French woman).

Please call me at my shop on Wednesday 858 452-7280 after 10 AM pst. I would be happy to sell you some BEVA and 8XX polyester. I am away from work for a few days and will return on Wednesday.
