Merry Christmas, all.
This is the time of year for lots of business, and for stupid mistakes. I'll avoid the details as I'm feeling a bit raw still, but now I need to find a 3" scoop to replace on an old frame. It looks just like the the common scoop available to cover in linen, but in this case it is covered in gold leaf. It is a light, whitish gold, but that isn't too important as there are several components to this moulding and they are all rather different. I find nothing in my catalogs, and am not a restorer or ready to learn gilding or leafing yet. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Not feeling too jolly,
Mel
