I have two round peices of glass with a lace doiley (sp?) between them that needs to be reattached to a round silver tray rim. When you hold the round tray rim verticall and look behind it it is shaped like a J and the two peices of glass go against the short side of the >>>J. The rubber peice that came with the tray has become brittle and broke. Any ideas?

If the frame is marked .925 or Sterling have a jeweler solder tabs around the sides to hold the glass. If the frame is not marked, most jewelers will not attempt to work on the frame for fear of not knowing what the frame is made of.
