gemini's showcase acrylics

Hiya!
can anyone give any input on Gemini's acrylic display cases?
I have a football and a soccer ball that a cust wants in a display case.

Are there any other dealers you prefer or have dealt with?

I've had only good experiences with them and used them almost exclusively, since Gemini had local delivery to Appleton.

Gemini's great!

We had them make a "gravity groove" frame with UV plexi for a violin project and it was top-knotch all the way. Kinda pricey, but they turn out very nice! Good luck!

Since Gemini/Showcase began featuring my Gravity Groove frame design, I have gotten better acquainted with them. They make all kinds of specialty mounts for things like sports balls, bats, musical instruments, and unique mounts for one-of-a-kind object framing. Their acrylic fabrication shop is fully equipped, and their staff is capable and experienced. Last time I was there they were building a huge acrylic box, over 15 feet square, as I recall.

What's most impressive to me is that Gemini/Showcase has developed a way to make acrylic boxes using anti-reflection, optically coated Optium Acrylic. Wow! With its higher clarity, the box is almost not there. As far as I know, nobody else has come up with that. They also make Acrylic boxes with OP-3 UV-filtering acrylic. Our local fabricators charge a lot more for using that material.
