I am looking for an inexpensive, but reliabe mounting alternative. We mount a great deal of large blue prints for an engineering company that are used once or twice an then pitched. It seems to me there is probably a less expensive product we could be using instead of Fusion 4000. I use a heated vaccuum press.

Thanks for the suggestions,

Lori

labor is the biggest cost in mounting...

What is the current charge to your clients and how cheap are they looking for it to be?

Yes there are generic mounting materials of varing qualities, precoated heat activated foam boards.

Hi Jerome,
My customer is not actually concerned with the cost of the jobs we do for them. My concern was perhaps trying to increase my profitabilty, especially since their needs for the finished product is so short lived. My current cost for a roll of Fusion 40.5x30 is $104.30.

Thanks again,

Lori
