Link to four new Yamamoto prints framed for our gallery and put on the site today. See top row for newest designs. Yamamoto Page.

Do you like the little mouse bites?

great!!

I hope one day I will have enough money to buy a CMC.
Look! how Kirstie make use of her CMC to exploit different types of mat designs....

sugoine!!!( amazing in Japanese...!)

Kirstie, Anytime I see your name on a thread, it's pretty much a given that what follows will be both challenging and encouraging. Great mouse bites, and the other designs on your site inspire creativity as well.

Great designs, Kirstie. Love the mouse 'bites' and I quite like the lower cutouts of the mat for the rabbits prints - they look like a sillouette of the rabbits backs/behinds.

Thanks everyone. The mouse bites were just for fun. I would imagine that Sarah or Lisa used little circles and a bit of Path Trace. The rest of the designs are Wizard templates. All our small gallery pieces are made from leftovers in the shop. Recycling!

Very nice Kirstie. The rabbits are especially charming.

The mouse nibbles probably wouldn't require Path Trace even. Just lay out a series of overlapping circles or ovals, then click on the Advanced tab, select all the openings, then click Merge Openings. Done!

Nice Kristie, but how did you frame that rabbit so cheap, at 10"x116" my price would be much higher. LOL

Exactly Dave. I don't think this was something that took a lot of time. When they first showed me the finished mat, I was hesitant, but now I'm warming up to it. Whimsical is OK every now and then. All the prints you see on that page are up on one wall in the gallery, so the mouse bites are a bit of fun. My designers Sarah and Lisa do most of them, and some are done by other adventurous framers with Sarah's OK.

I thought the same thing. I also thought due to that it would have been nice to path-trace in some little ears off the part that looks like an outstretched head.

Here's how the mouse bites were done. What you are seeing are the ends of two Wizard tree templates--the ends of the leaves. LOL! Not little circles at all. Could have fooled me. Our newest employee, Chloe, created the mat.

Very Nice

P.S. In the second section in your description of the framing you have UV prtecting instead of PROTECTING.

Jeff, Thank you for finding this error. I need proofreaders! It is so hard to proof your own stuff. That error had been there for months.
