Franks glue spot removal

I can recall reading a thread where some one mentioned a trick to removing a spot of franks glue from fabric. I searched the G and cannot locate the thread.

Any one have success at this?

Is the spot in silk or cotton? Size of an ant or an elephant?

Black cascade cotton, one about a 1/4" spot and another the size of a pencil. Yeah, bad day!

Even spit won't help you with that 1/4"... If you could have started right away... blot with spit. And keep blotting... but for god sake dont let it dry.

I've been doing it for decades.... and I still can do that at the most worstest of worstest times. But buck-up Becky... the weekend is almost here.

On a side note you often can remove a spot of Frank's Fabric Adhesive off of a regular mat board. I pick up what I can while it is still damp and then use a white plastic eraser to pick up the rest. Works best where the board is not very absorbent.
