just got the may 2006 issue if popular science.. and on page 77 there is a framing project to turn a old lap top in to a digtal photoframe..seems like a fun project.. just thought it was interesting..
 
I had one of these come in the other day. It was a college-age boy who was making this as a gift for his girlfriend. I thought it was really cool!
 
My brother is a pharmacist and works on computers as a side-line and has made several of those in the past few months. He buys old laptop computers very cheep to do this. The only disadvantage he says is there is no guarantee on old laptops. He is supposed to make me one for my shop when he gets ahold of a 17" or larger laptop.
