Is there any technical framing problem that has you stumped? Would you like to Ask the Expert from DECOR magazine? Please respond to me with any question you have regarding a framing problem that you can't seem to solve.

Oh, just stay tuned...
LOTS of technical framing problems are discussed here. AND I can't think of a one that was not solved, too, btw

P.S. Maybe the archives could reveal a few interesting projects..

Which one expert from Decor magazine would we be asking?

Sorry, but alot of "experts" are already on this forum. But feel free to chime in with anyother expert opinion you may have. Help should never be refused, and Welcome to the Grumble.

My Kentucky friend JVandy nailed it: we got tons of experts on this forum, and more on the PPFA hitchhikers website.

Plus, for we PPFA members, a toll-free help line into PPFA,m plus Larson's helpdesk there.

Maybe we got more help than necessary?????

A thought

Catherine,
First, welcome to the Grumble. I'm sure you've been reading the threads, and searching the Archives. You're probably aware of our individual capabilities and limitations. Any help you can provide will surely be welcomed by me! A question is often posted here, and will get 10 answers, all offering slightly different, but correct solutions. You can get an education just by asking a question. All 10 may disagree, but all 10 solutions will work. That's what makes Grumblers such a large and diverse family.
I think I covered my 'Second' back up there somewhere. I was gonna thank you in advance for your help.

Welcome aboard!

I'm not totally worthless. I can always be used as a bad example...

My husband calls it an "ex-spert" An "ex" is a has-been, and a "spert" is a drip under pressure!

Catherine,
If I sounded mean, I'm sorry, I'm not mean I'm a loveable Teddy bear. We always like another opinion.. My professor in college always said opinions are like A**H**** everbody's got one. Experts at DECOR didn't frame the picture in Daisy Fuentes hands in PFM did they?

Dear Y'all (I can legally write this cause I was born in Alabama and live in Tennessee)

As one of them low brow clean shirt wear'n sputters (thanks Jim and Betty), I can take the abuse. But when you accuse us'ns at D-core of being gapped-corner framers that's go'n too far. That there thing on the front of the PFM is yur genuwine AFC frame. Yes sir that there is a product of the Art and Framing Council. Now how sick are we that we overlooked the girl to analyse the corners...and yes I did the same thing.

Don't you love this industry. Betty and Michael I can move out of Tennessee after this post if you want.

PS This is becoming a Warped Post must be AFC's fault (or DECORS)

This thread dun gone Warped, fer shur.

But getting back on topic...Catherine, you'll find plenty of framing "stumpers" if you monitor this exchange and Hitchhikers. And as a bonus, you'll also find workable solutions. After all, forums like this are where new ideas and methods are born.

You are to be commended for wanting to share this treasure trove of framing expertise with framers who don't have direct access to it.

I thinks it's easy for us Grumblers to forget that there are frame shops and framers out there who don't use computers or the internet (as surreal as that sounds.) I think it would be just great for Decor or anyone else to share some of this treasure-chest of info. Please just acknowledge where it came from.

I'm getting off the thread here....but my boss is one of those that cant understand how getting computerized will only benefit the business. This forum and the HH forum will also help her get back on track in regards to how the business is run. I finally gave up trying to convince her. It usually turns into me sounding like i am "Miss Knower of All Things". lol. The information that i have gotten from reading TG and HH has been so helpful to me on so many differerent framing related topics. Its been the best thing i have stumbled upon in a long time. Keep all the great info, coming!! I'll take it any way i can get it.
