Hello!!!!!!!!!! NOTE: I am a nice guy asking for advice while completely respecting the proffesion and your time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a lady bring in 4 movie poster reproductions (16 x 20s).
They are for a movie room in her house and the walls are black.

Money is not much of an issue here. Anyone have any creative, over the top ideas on how to do these????

What are the movies?

You'll not want to put a black frame on a black wall, so consider something like silver, or maybe the Nielsen vivids.

It would depend on the particular films illustrated, and the style of the graphics. If money really is no object, Bella just came out with some frames that have silver glitter all over them. Very splashy and "Hollywood"....Larson Art Deco series has some gorgeous frames that remind me of the grand movie palaces of old....

If she wanted modern I would mat them in black and then use a high contrasting frame, depending on her decor, gold if she has gold hardware or something in the room, silver if she has silver.
If it was more traditional, (and if it worked with the pieces) you could use a fabric mat to simulate the old movie curtains.

I did six movie posters with multiple signatures for a good client using LJ's Zen series stacking the two different profiles, some in the same finish and some with different finishes depending on the individual posters.

Framed closed up with spacers and mounted on Restore with museum glass.

Customer thought they looked awesome and so did I.
