I have a high school game "hanky"..the type they wave at the games, akin to the MN Twins "Homer Hankies". I'd like to do something different than just cover the edges with the mats.

Could I float it on a rag mat/foamcore float ? but I'm not sure what I'd attach it with. Any/all ideas would be appreciated.

I tried in vain to find any kind of thread in the archives with hanky, handkerchief, bandana as keywords...but came up empty. If someone can point me to a tread already posted, that would be great too. I don't seem to have the knack of finding things with the search engine:shrug:

Thanks! Luann

you can definitely float it by sewing down the hanky to matboard, or use an attach-ez if you have the device.

Any other ideas?

Are there any other ideas of what can be done with it? Just brainstorming....

and thanks Auntie, for the quick answer. Appreciate it...

rather then flat I would fold similar to how one holds it to wave. If it was used at a game include anything that was available about the game. perhaps a square frame hung on point could add interest. Lots of options hard to tell without seeing the item.

as it is a high school item what about having the team sign the mat?
