I responded to a classified ad in the paper this morning and, although I didn't need these particular items, I told the very nice older gentleman looking to sell them that I would be happy to post a notice here for him. I don't have the details about the equipment, so if you are interested please call him directly. Thanks.

Rick, it really helps posting here for him. I posted here for a friend who finally closed his frame shop, and everything sold from here, except for the oval mat cutter. He'd had it all advertised in other places for several months, and not even a call. All gone (but the oval mat cutter!) from here in less than 2 weeks.

I talked to him for almost a half hour. He is retired from the phone company, then was a substitute teacher for a number of years, plus a hobbyist woodworker. He wanted to get into framing some things for himself, and bought all this equipment for $8500 from a guy closing his shop in Lawrenceburg, Indiana due to real estate issues. Sounds like Harry has never really had a proper place to set it all up at home, and at age 77 was not really keen to start a business. Now he and his wife are moving to a smaller place. Still, he has mixed feelings about parting with the equipment. (You know how hard it is to let go of tools.) He said he had thought and prayed about it a lot. He was grateful that I offered to post the ad here, but he and I agreed that if someone bought it, that meant it was "meant to be", but if not he wouldn't be disappointed either. ;) Sounds like a sweet guy.
 Rick
