This auction is in the state of Washington, so any of you up that direction in need of framing equipment may want to take note. I live in Texas, so unfortunately even if I bid by I/Net, I don't have a way to get it shipped back to Dallas in a timely manner. I'm not affiliated with the auction company. Wish I could attend - sometimes find a bargain or two if it's a good auction.

Equipment includes:

* BREVETTI Prisma Maxi double mitre saw
* ITW AMP Mitre-Mite VN42 frame assembly machine
* VACUSEAL 4468H vacuum/dry mount press
* DEWALT 790 radial arm saw
* RYOBI 10" planer
* GRIZZLY 12" double disc sander
* JUN AIR 6-25 portable air compressor
* DELTA 50-775 2 dust collector, 115v, single phase
* Assortment of bar clamps, hand tools, shop fans to 36", (4) 50"x60" work benches w/wood vises, framing supplies, much more

And the headlines read,

POLICE STING ON AREA FRAME SHOP NETS SUSPICIOUS EQUIPMENT

Area police were baffled this morning when a SWAT team raided the ACME Frame Shop and recovered some very suspicious looking equipment. Chief Handy Parker said in an interview that they didn't know what the equipment was used for but it sure looked incriminating! "We suspect that some hanky panky was goin' on up there late at night with all that weird stuff sittin' around that "lab"!!", the police chief said.

Meanwhile, specialists are trying to decipher some literature that was found on the scene that could have a bearing on the activities going on in the building. "We found some fliers that had '50% off all custom work' stamped on 'em and we believe they may have been cookin' up some kind of secret yuppie drugs or designer stuff that these kids sniff up their noses or sumpin'!!" one deputy was heard to say.

After a thorough investigation the impounded equipment will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Proof of identity is required and payment is on an "as is" basis for the equipment. Chief Parker said, "We really don't care who buys this stuff as long as they get it out of my county!! I run a tight ship here and we don't want no hanky panky goin's on here in Claybourne County so we figger if we sell that stuff to somebody say in Oregon or Ideeho, just somewheres away from here, it's their problem, not ours."

More to come on the 6PM edition.
