This must be my lucky month!!

I have yet another display project - this time for 5 antique pocket watches.

I had contacted Lois Bauby for my last display case project and will probably do the same here.

Just wondering if anyone has done a piece like this and can offer suggestions?

I love the 3-d projects!!

Thanks,

Roz

If the watches are still functional, they need to be accessible in order to wind them. The oils that are used to lubricate the watches will thicken forming a tar like substance. This will necessitate the watch be dismantled and cleaned to get it working again.

Roz,
Whether open or closed, you can use clear film to mount them. Cut a piece of clear film to the size of the glass bezel, except include four or more straps radiating from the circumference.

Pull those straps through slots in the mount board & secure them on the back.
