Hello, I had a customer call me about framing an autographed NASCAR suit. I'm having troubles finding mats large enough. Any help would be appreciated! Or if any of you have any other ideas please let me know. Thank you. Carol

Conservation quality board comes 60 X 104, but
it is only in shades of white. Unbleached muslin
can be thoroughly washed and well rinsed and then
it can be used as a backing/support material.
One can stretch it over a strainer that has had
board laid over (but not glued to) its face.

Carol, it could be a time to get a little creative? You can splice oversize mats, or leave a space so as to seem like an open v-groove. I found this works as long as I have a one-piece undermat. I usually try to incorporate the splice or opening on the sides of the piece, sometimes at a diagonal.

Depending on the effect you want, you can even use two different colors, one top part, one on the bottom part.

Full-sized suits like that are a pain, but they look good when completed.
