I tried it when evaluating software and really didn't like it. Nothing bad, everything worked, just didn't like it. I went with a used copy of Framready that I bought from someone going out of business and love it.

I've been using it since October and couldn't be happier.

The flexibility in pricing allows you to set up your system about any way that you want.

And the customer service is second to none.

The updates are free (newest update coming out any day now). From the sneak previews I've seen, it's going to be ahead of the curve.

It's worth a look if you are in the market for a POS/Framing system. :D

I've been using it for 6 months now... pretty pleased with it and for what it is designed to do it really is a nifty software.

If you are looking for a all-in-one software package that does all the accounting stuff then you might want to looks elsewhere... but if you are looking for a pricing software FrameSmart can't be beat IMHO.

You should wait a week or so before downloading a test version -- there are alot of cool new features coming in the next upgrade (free BTW).

Best,
Jason.

Ronny Terbeek is the author of that software and he emailed me a year or 2 back and wanted me to take a look at it and give a critique for him. I still have the version on the hard drivce, I think. It is an OK program but requires alot of setup as many flexible POS programs do. As was stated, you can set up your pricing almost ad infinitum and can adjust markup on individual frames if you want to get that specific.

Check the Aussie Grumble, they are pretty hot on the program down there. For the price, it is a good program. If you want to go into the middle price range, then FrameReady is the top of the line as far as I'm concerned.
