Any body have any cutting and joining experience with Framerica's Stainless Steel moulding?

Framamerica says that the wood is called "bonanza wood" looks like mdf or something. I see that AMP makes a special v nail for MDF. Is that is what is needed to join these mouldings? Or will regular AMP v-nailswork?

Bill,

We've been distibuting Stainless for a few months now and find it to be quite superior to other MDF products we have used in the past.

One of the benifits of being a vendor at WCAF was being able to go 'Lurk' before the show..... :D

Framarica was deffinately on my list after Robb Markoff all but drooled on himself....[we saw that show after the dinner

I was blown away by the new stuff. It is like a vinyl wrap its so thin. The wood on the huge honked SS looked like a cross pollenation of MDF and Ramin, I'd say go with the hardwood pins and stay in the front half of the footprint. Should go great.

Someday I'll see a rep and get to try some in our shop . . . . I'm not holding breath. The pacific Northwest is still concidered by some to be the land of Paul Bunyan and Babe the freezing framer.

So when Hellen MT freezes, we'll see a rep.

Actually, what was even more exciting to me was their Tea Paper silver.... yummy. Very asian.

I cover the Western Region for Framerica. My territory stretches from Vancouver BC to San Diego. I would love to contact you about our Stainless Steel moulding. Framerica has a ton of great looking mouldings. Like you said, most people are blown away when they see our line.

Get me your phone number and I will contact you.
