Hi! Got my first order from Framerica today

Ordered seven frames (all Boxers).
I had them thumbnailed / routered because I do not have a Vnail machine yet.

None of them are going together happily. I have joined hundreds of frames from other sources that have been thumbnailed and I have had no issue.

Every one of the corners is opening up at least 1/16 - 1/8 an inch when the inserts are inserted. Get all four corners together and the problem gets worse. I have tried two different frames and dry fitted two more and all of them have the issue. Any "tricks" to Framerica's inserts?

I am planning on calling them in the morning.

Anyone have any clue?

I ordered a new strap clamp from united, but one of the profiles I do not think will fit in the clamp.

I had the same problem. I ended up cutting a biscuit slot in the corners and gluing them, then used clamps till dry. Plus the mouldings were warped really bad. I wasn't very happy after going through all that. I have had good luck v-nailing them in the past though along with glue, but I would just as soon use another moulding. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the reply. These are not warped but those inserts are sure not going in those frames :)
New strap clamp on order :) + some cornerweld and they should be fine :)
