I have three framed pictures inside a framed shadowbox...The shadowbox has Con Clear glass on it. Should I also put glass on the small pics inside? I am worried about glare.

I am thinking to just tape the rabbet and go with it unglassed, relying on the glass over the whole to protect.

Thoughts?

I have used Clear Film in situations similar.

Of course that has as much potential glare problems as regular glass.

A non-glare acrylic might be a good bet, light yet some what glare resistent.

Michael ...can't think of any reason you'd need to put additional glazing on the interior as the shadow box glazing should provide all the protection you need.

Multiple layers of UV-filtering glazing would not add to the protection against light damage, as they would all block the same frequency range of light. I suggest leaving the frames unglazed inside the frame, and use just one UV filtering glazing.
