Frame odeur

We got some Rubens frame corners from LJ and I noticed a very peculiar, strong smell as I was handling them. Our consensus is that they smell like formaldehyde. I hung them up for a day thinking the odor might fade, but it was a strong as ever. Even the wall space they were attached to had absorbed the aroma.

So I removed them and will send them back. I wondered if anyone else noticed this phenomenon.

I have noticed a odor w/this line also. My samples have no odor but various lengths do smell as you described.

We've noticed it in the Florentina line too, we've replaced 5 now! They say the wood was finished wet because of 'faulty meters'...
