If you happen to love frame designs and perhaps do a living off it, you will thank me for posting the thread HERE IT COMES THE FRENCH BB's.

If you thought that independent framers are necesarily better designers than BB's, see how you do against this one?

HERE IT COMES THE FRENCH BB's is about a MUTANT, a different animal than our BB's, one that you don't wish to ever cross the Atlantic and mate with ours.

If you don't like be challenged, don't go near that site.

But does it mean the FRAME DESIGN HATERS can ignore it?

In that thread I was giving the link to a French BB's website (www.eclatdeverre.com) and, since that site is in French, I gave directions as how to reach most interesting pages.

Their framing art is absoluly outstanding, perhaps a good source of inspiration for many individual framers, and also a warning of what BB's may one day turn to look like in America as well. If The French BB's named Eclat de Verre can do that quality framing while selling also paper, shades, arts supplies, cards and books, then American BB's may one day do it as well and that spells troubled waters ahead.

Go to HERE IT COMES THE FRENCH BB's and see for yourself. You can blindly stroll through that site, if you please, but don't miss their galleres and molding stock. It's a different world than ours.
