I'm sure you all heard, and many were probably also affected throughout the southland, that there were some pretty knarlly fires burning this week in CA. We got evacuated, but have returned, cleaned up the ash that blew through the doors, but luckily we came through everything pretty good. No major personal or business loss. We did loose a couple of historical landmarks, like the Kashan Castle. And the Malibu Presbyterian Church no longer exists. Here's a link to some of the pictures. I went for a walk at some point and sure enough even though there was still fire burning in the hills the surfers were in the water. There really is no place like California.

To those who were affected, I hope this finds you in good times, and without much loss.
