I have a Nielsen Thumbnailer for sale. Bought 02/2002 and have run less than 250 frames through it. Comes with the optional Carbide bit, and plenty of inserts of all three sizes. It is in great shape and comes with all original tools and manual as seen in photo.

Asking $450 including ups ground shipping.

You can email me at webmaster@wcfth.com or call 218-834-3818 between 9 and 5 central time. Item is located in Two Harbors Minnesota. Will have more equipment for sale later.

I'm surprised you still have this tool. The Thumbnail system is well established, practical, and durable. It looks good in the photo and includes a good quantity of consumable fasteners, not to mention the carbide bit.

If I didn't already have a pneumatic underpinner, I would buy this tool.

If I can put in an advertisement...I use this system. For most frames it is a terrific system. We have a v-nailer and I prefer the thumbnailer. My joins with the thumbnailer look very good and do not need putty. Also NB has a tech guy (Gritsko) that is so helpful. So many have blasted this system, but I have never seen a joint (of mine) that failed. A good quality glue and understanding how to get a tight bond is very important but this is the same with any joiner.

This would be a superb machine for a newbie with lower volume. It isn't super fast, but I'm ok with that since I have eliminated the putty step.
