I'm in New Jersey and would be willing to drive to Penn., Del or even Maryland to pick-up. looking for used Fletcher wall mounted board and glass cutter, or similar item from another manufacturer. Please contact me and let me know if you have one of these to sell. Thanks!

if you havent had one b4...its the best thing to happen to your blood pressure you can imaging!
hope your search is sucessful

I got one from the people on the link in this page :) I had good luck buying from them. Both times. Others here haven't had the luck I did, but then I didn't need help after the sale. I was able to put the cutter and the other equipment together myself.

Check them out, it can't hurt to call and ask questions. I was happy to have used them. Both times. Fast delivery and reasonable price. Don't forget this machine will be in your shop for a long long time :) Getting a good price today on a used one might not be such a deal if you have trouble with it down the road. I got a used (demo) model from them. Price was right and it was in a well maintained condition.

How about C&H

You can get a new C&H wall cutter for $1240 and free shipping at Framersisland.com. Does the same thing as Fletcher, but has a lower price.

IMO the fletcher is an "easier" machine to use. The C&H BG is a beast in my eyes. Heavy handle, harder to pull down on and I think, can't remember, but do recall that you had two different rulers systems for glass and mats. The Fletcher is easy. Only thing I want changed is a quick release turret head.

I paid under $1300 to get a fully assembled Fletcher from pictureframingequip, and that included shipping to my door. Others here may have had issues with them but I haven't. Roll the dice :)

I PM'd Parismom w/o any response - so I'll open it up to the rest of the class - - -
Like new - Fletcher 48" for $1k
Pick up only -
Thanks

48" long or tall? My 60" F3000 has a 48" side ruler and can accommodate a 60" fome core.

Good luck selling the Fletcher :) They are rock solid machines and will last "forever" :)

I'm chipping in my offer as well:

Fletch 8460 (the predecessor for the 3000), 60-inch height with goodies.
$800 (but it ought to be lower).. and *FREE* SHIPPING TO GRUMBLE MEMBERS!

Yup, this thing is a rock and will last forever.

I spoke out of turn. My purchases weren't from these fine folks on this page. But after talking with them on the phone I would be very happy to buy from them in the future.

They called me to find out what problems I had and what they could do to address them. After talking with them I found out my mistake, and after another 10 minutes of friendly conversation I have vowed to myself to look for some equipment I can buy from them :)

Parismom, call them. Very nice straightforward people.

I just purchased a frame shop where the owner was retiring and leaving the area. I have several duplicate pieces of equipment. Among them is a 48 inch (mast) Fletcher 3000. Good shape, photos available. Located in upstate NY (30 minutes south of Rochester). Asking $800 FOB Canandaigua, NY.
