Fletcher 2000

I have an OLD Fletcher 2000 not used for mat cutting just for trimming. The head assembly has always been a bit wobbly, but now the straight line side has lost its spring. The bevel side still works OK.

I've looked at the Fletcher-Terry site to see if there is a replacement head assembly aavilable but can't make sense of he part nummbers (I don't have a parts diagram).

So my question: Is there any way to fix this old beast, or is it destined for the framing equipment graveyard?

Your springs are replaceable. If you don't have your manual anymore to find the order part numbers, the people at Fletcher are extremely knowledgable and helpful. I'm sure if you describe what the problem is they can send you the correct replacement.
