The grumble moved to a different server two days ago and that feature is temporarily broken.

Framer is aware and working on it.

Is there anyway of getting the "Short History of Squirrels" frankenthread back?

-David-

Thanks, Mike.

I tried to reopen the Frankenthread thread to fix the squirrel link (this is getting a little weird) which is lacking the www at the beginning (how did THAT happen?) and encountered an unexpected fatal error. (Not to be confused with an EXPECTED fatal error.)

Oh no! Microsoft has taken control of The Grumble.

Flintstone, this is a Frankenthread.

Nah, Flintstone, Ron's got it all wrong this time!! By definition, you can't frankenthread a thread on frankenthreading. (Look it up, Ron)

To try to frankenthread a frankenthread is akin to trying to critique an article on the critical analysis of an article! It is an ambiguous, binary, open-ended, socially uncompromising, digitally deceiving, attempt to rationalize a rationale or take a middle of the road position on the subject of compromise (as socially stated earlier).

There!! I've done it!! :D

I have successfully frankenthreaded an attempted frankenthread on frankenthreading!! (Which is a whole different huntin' dog than just frankenthreading a frankenthread!!)

HA! ..............(Now what was your other question?? Oh, yeah, the 5 topic thingy, ............. that's already been answered, Flint, ........... sorry.

I sometimes try to be cognizant of the inevitable confusion felt by someone stumbling across a thread like this during their very first visit to The Grumble.

If you're such a visitor, don't forget to check out the tech forum.

I tried to popularize a term for those ancient threads that somebody posts to and brings them back to the top. I wanted to call them The Undead Thread, but it never really caught on.

I like "Undead Thread"...although I thought it might be rude to raise the dead, but it must be ok if there is a name for it.

Now this must qualify for a full-fledged frankenthread.
