Frame shop owner has passed away. Over 5,380 feet of top quality hand made American framing wood from PB&H molding. American, Basswood, Cherry, Popular, Oak, Ash and other woods. All stock is unused and has been stored appropriately with no bent or warped sticks present. This inventory would be perfect for a new or established fine art frame shop. Sizes range from 1 inch to 4 inches, sticks are generally over 9 feet up 12 foot. Will only sell as a lot. NOT at all interested in piece milling the sticks out. Pictures of some of this molding can be seen on its facebook page located at: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1354902365217470 Log into Facebook The inventory is located near Asheville, NC.

FWIW, I liked the mouldings that I got from PB&H before they closed in 2012. Depending on price, this might be a good deal for someone recognizing that this is all discontinued stock and no longer available.

You are correct PB&H is out of business. There is a ton of molding here. All of it in great shape. It's located near Asheville, NC

Probably a good idea to mention what you are asking for the lot.

PB&H had some great moulding.
For random discontinued moulding I would not pay more than $1 a ft.
My recollection from a 14 years ago was $.20-$.40 a ft

Best of luck.

Hey Carol, I’m in the Asheville area and wondering if you will be selling any tools or equipment, thanks

Yes a few things. We have a very nice laminator with several boxes of laminating and release paper.

$1 ft is what i paid for a buyout 2 years ago. About all I would go for given warpage about 15% and dings another 15%.

Sorry for your loss, CarolinaGal.

I do agree with the post above, in that to move a large volume that is older discontinued stock, $1/foot seems about right. I would also list this on a couple of the FaceBook forums to get the word out. Framing.Academy, Underpinner, and Framer's Only - just be sure to use their special areas for selling.

And perhaps adding just a couple of images would help too.

Good luck,

John
