Well, apparently we're the new spot for custom framed Bulletin boards. I've sold 4 in the last 3 weeks. They've all be extremely large, and the frames have had enough space for 1/4 cork adhered to 1/4 plywood. Now however, I've got one that is about 62x20 with a fairly shallow rabbet, and I need a different substrate. I know where I'm getting my 1/8 cork from, I just can't seem to find 1/4 or 3/8 fiberboard anywhere around. Lowes Carries 1/4 mdf but only in 2x4 sheets, and obviously that's not long enough. I don't mind driving, since there's nothing in Malibu, but I'd prefer to not drive too far. Thanks to you locals who might be able to help me with this.

Find a sign supplier like Montroy, Tubelite, Grimco... Check out a new wood product they call "scooter board", kinda of an MDF with a paintable/vinylable face available in 4x8 sheets. Some with cut it for you on their panel saw.
