Returning from a recent trip, this client wanted a catchy frame that embellished the strong colors & lines in their bright colored painting on canvas.

I think we succeeded with the use of stacking 2 larsen Juhl mouldings

Paintings on canvas board always create a challenge when floating it to keep the exposed edges is desired.

The canvas board was placed on a foamcore platform and attached to matboard with a weighted bottom. The moulding has a bit of a jungle vibe quite suited to the painting itself!
