Thought I'd share this with everyone. It's a knife I picked up from Fanning Island in the Republic of Kiribati. One of the stops we made while on our Hawaiian cruise this past March. The blade is wood. The edges of the blade and the handle are bones and what look like sharks teeth. Thanks to Ron's large selection of frame samples I was able to find a frame deep enough. I had to build up about 1-1/4" of foamcore to get the depth I needed. I fastened the knife to the blue suede back with clear quilting thread.

Plus I wanted to try www.hpphoto.com that was mentioned in another thread. Easy to use and works well.

Cool knife. The antler-like boney structures are from a variety of crustacean in the lobster/shrimp family. I have a dried seahorse with a pair of these bones projecting from either side of its head creating a "sea moose".
