A friend of mine has just created a business page for his business (the kind that collects "fans"). Prior to that, he had created a similarly-named people page (the kind that collects "friends"). Of course he has a personal profile page and presence too. My question is, what does he need to do to delete the people-type page that has the business's name?

I love how when I clicked on that it brought up page one, 1-10 results of 71,100,000 results for "delete Facebook account."

Trouble in Paradise ya think?

I joined Facebook when my first grandchild was born to "keep up with him" via photos.

After receiving dozens of "be my friend" requests from people I had never heard of I deleted my account as it was becoming a P.I.T.A.

If people are worth knowing they are worth visiting in person, especially if they are grandkids.

Rick,

There are 2 choices:

1. Edit the personal page to not refer to the business anymore, or

2. Use "Deactivate account" under "Account Settings", which is listed in the "Account" menu.

Hope that covers it.

Steve
