I need to replace the faded fabric in some display cases. These are the big glass counter-type cases with flourescent lighting, like what you might see in a jeweler's store. The fabric I need to replace looks like a variety of black velvet. Does anybody know what is used for this, and a source...I'm hoping Raphael's or Frank's may carry it.

Thanks in advance!

The Three Stars Over Texas show is in Austin next weekend, and I'm trying my best to get there to take some classes (mainly Bob Carter's...)and I noticed that Baer is on the roster. I'd love to meet him! What a character!
He sounds like he will fit the Austin scene perfectly.
Both of my kids are starting UT in the fall, so we were down there a couple of weekends ago. The most common t-shirt slogan:"Keep Austin Weird."

Hi Leslie,
It is most probably black baize, like the stuff used on pool tables. Have done a quick search on the net but cannot find a supplier that does it in black. Felt is very similar, but again could not find a supplier. If you get stuck, the "fluffy" part of Valcro is also very similar and is readily available, at least here in the UK, I use it in my display boxes.
