(closest I could come to a yelling graemlin!)

SO, WHATCHA GOT THERE, SPECIFICALLY, BILLIEBOB?? YOU SURELY DON'T EXPECT ANYONE TO DROP 70 BIG ONES IN YOUR LAP WITHOUT KNOWING APPROXIMATELY WHAT THEY ARE BUYING, DO YOU??

ALSO, WHERE IN THE UNITED STATES ARE YOU LOCATED?? (New Caney does narrow it down somewhat but I am not sure how.) THAT MAY MAKE QUITE A DIFFERENCE IN WHETHER SOMEBODY WHO WANTS TO BUY YOUR STUFF CAN AFFORD TO DRIVE OVER "YONDER" TO PICK IT UP!!

AN' GOOD LUCK TO YA, THERE, BILLIEBOB!!

Framerguy, Not all newcomers know the rules about yelling. Give the guy a break. Just in case he doesn't know. All caps is SHOUTING!!! Sales reps aren't allowed to grumble are they? It is hot here too. Have a good one.

BILLIE BOB,

I apologize if I have offended you, I thought that most people that have used the internet already knew that, almost universally, using all CAPS is a sign that you are either trying to put emphasis on a word, angry at someone or you are <strike>yelling</strike> shouting at your intended reader.

Using all these acronyms, little smilies, abbreviations, and such, has become so commonplace for some of us (a mixed blessing at best) that we tend to overlook the possibility that some people don't know about them.

To followup on my last post, if you list your equipment, inventory, and supplies that are for sale and give some idea of where you are located, you will have a much better chance at getting prospective buyers to reply. After all, you COULD be located in Juneau or on the Big Island which would make picking up the stuff a bit awkward for somebody from, say, Fort Walton Beach, FL!!

Thank you Pat,

it doesn't seem logical that somebody from Juneau would offer enough framing equipment to "start a custom frame shop in Houston, TX" now does it??

(Wheree's that bald headed addle-minded graemlin when you need to use him??)

sorry about the yelling just wanted to make sure everyone heard... if anyone wants a list send me an email. and don't ever buy a framing franchise.

New Caney is right next to Patton Village.

As a better point of reference, both of those towns are about 35 miles north/northeast of Houston Tx on Hwy 59.

DonB I have meet you before...I now work for CMI Moulding since my shop closed..

Whoa! It's a small small world

I would NEVER have made that association!

Maybe I'll catch up with you again before long. I remember now you said something about having a shop but don't remember you saying where.

So Billiebob you work for the mighty jim? i did for four and a half years...dont let it get to you. the place where i worked was not directly linked to one of his major shops. the folks in charge were nice, but did not know enough. they were great people, but like jim it was money first, then caring about the customers. in this area it is love em or leave em. many tend to leave.

well i will tell you I miss having a frame shop very very much.. would rather be runing a frame shop then trying to sell lumber.
