We got the line in a few months ago, and I'm looking at it on a design.
I'm hesitant to use it, though, because of the finish. If you've used it,
have you had any issues with the finish chipping/scratching, etc?

The one I'm curious about is # 427620 Platinum.

Made a couple dozen photo frames out of the black and they did fine, easy cuts good corners and they are holding up. I have a bunch of the platinum ready to go for the rest will cut in the morning if no one chimes in.

Thanks for your comments, and I hope it goes well.

I don't have the moulding you specified, but I can see why you would want to ask about it. A wide, flat lacquer can do that to a person!

I cut a smaller profile. I did have some slight problems on the bottom of the back edge. I also got some hairline scratches from running it through along the saw fence. It seems more delicate than the black.

If you order chop I would save the foam wrapper to try and protect the finished frame. If you order length then find something soft and protective to wrap it with. I think it will need some extra protection for the way home. Beautiful moulding though it's worth it in my opinion. The problems were slight and I didn't have them at all with the black.
