Well, does anyone have a vendor for a mounting board bigger than 48" x 96"? I have a 59" x 92" fabric piece to fusion down and I don't want to risk a seam. This is just plain old modern fabric for a decorator's cockamamie vision.

Thoughts?

I would probably bond together two layers of 4 mm or 6 mm fluted polypropylene (aka Coroplast), with the flutes crossed, using a good contact cement like Lascaux 360. Let it partially set up on both surfaces, then bond, and dry at least a couple of days under weight.

Then line the assembled board with 4-ply alphacellulose (pieced together; seams covered with Japanese paper strips & starch paste), trim to size, and cover with fabric.

Both fome-cor brand and gator come 60 x 96. For something that size, gator would be my preference. It is less likely to fold on itself.

The closet distributor to you is:
