Posting this for a friend who has finally, after 35 years, discovered life after framing:

Fletcher 2100 mat cutter $350
C&H Circle and Oval Mat Cutter $300
Dahle 40" Paper and Mat Trimmer (table model) $400
40" Shrink Wrap Machine $275
(3) Heavy-duty industrial rubber fatigue mats $150

Must pick up, Carson City, Nevada

Call Chuck for further information (775) 883-5314

To the top....everything still available.

FREE Oval Master Jr.

Take it off my hands...please! No need for it now we have a CMC. Must pick up in Berkeley, CA. Otherwise it will end up in landfill and what a shame that would be.

Oops, sorry Val, jump ahead of me please.

Ha! Kirstie, I have one too, besides the bigger one listed above for my friend, Chuck. Think I'll donate it to the jr. college. My reps said no-one can get rid of them anymore.....except at a boatyard for an anchor!

Anybody need two Oval Master Juniors, and one Senior??

Anyone going sailing??

Can I have the slide/stop/measuring thingies on the side if you go to trash them? mine is missing the verticle and the horizontal is a little warped.

Mikki, I doubt they'll be thrown away. If they don't sell (not everyone has a CMC) then, donated, maybe. But if we can't even give 'em away, and decide to go sailing, they're yours.

Have you contacted C&H about replacements?

Same here, I'll let you know before it ends in landfill.

Actually the slides on these work pretty well for small homemade cnc machines. You can use drill rod to make longer travel. If they weren't so far away...
Try selling them on ebay as cnc parts (linear movement). Sell and ship the slide bearing and rod only.(do not remove slide bearing from rod, they are full of small ball bearings).
Better than throwing them away.

Thanks, Randy, good idea!

What is a cnc machine?

Thanks Kristie and Val mine was used and I did talk to the great guy at C&H and the small piece to repalce was like $90 seemed a little high I just atg a mat scrap or foam scrap to keep the mat from trying to move when I cut. but a new one would be great till I bite the bullet and get a cmc. have you guys tried listing on e-bay? that is where I got mine and they seem to sell on there I have seen others sell after mine

That's the next step....and Craig's List, but my friend will have to do that....I offered to put it on the Grumble for him first....the rest is his job.

Kirstie,
A CMC is a cnc
I think it stands for computerized numerical controller or something like that.
Anyway any tool whose movement is controlled by a computer usually in its x,y,z movement.
Routers, lathes, milling machines, plasma torches, etc.
